Spinach Dip with Pita Toasts
Ingredients
Dip
1 Tablespoon - chopped jalapenos
3/4 cup - chopped onion
2 cups - chopped tomatos
1 package - chopped frozen spinach (10 oz), thawed and squeeze dry
8 oz. - Softened cream cheese
8 oz. - Monterey Jack cheese, shredded (2 cups)
1/3 Cup - Half and half

Pitas
6 - Pita bread loaves
2 tsp - Lemon pepper
2 tsp - Ground cumin
1/2 cup - Melted butter
Instructions
Dip
In medium bowl, mix all ingredients together and pour into buttered oven-proof dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Serve warm with pita toasts.

Pitas
Melt butter and stir in seasonings. Half the pita bread using tip of knife to open up each half into two pieces. Brush the non-crust side with the mixture and cut halves into 3 triangle pieces. Place pieces on cookie sheet and bake in 400 degree oven until lightly brown and crisp. Usually takes 8-12 minutes


Easy to whip up quickly for the beginning of a party.
